the severe exterior gives no hint of the dazzling rich interior with barrel vault lined with stars and flowers. Paintings line the walls leading to a spectacular gilded retable. close to the cathedral.
The interior has great paintings and detail but is so dark it is hard to appreciate it all. There are some computer screens whcih apparently provide more info but they were not working during our visit.
