The St. George's Cathedral, downtown Georgetown, Guyana, dating to 1842, is reported to be the largest wooden structure in the world. It is certainly the largest that I've ever seen. Inside, there are stained glass windows and statutes of Jesus Christ. I took a number of exterior images from all sides, attached to this review, and one of the interior.... more
