great way to spend a hour or so, not being a great swimmer it was a good and safe way of exploring the sea world of new caledonia

Excellent aquarium. Great range of fish and ocean life (inc coral etc.) Good displays. Interactive stuff for the kids. Good insight into what you can find snorkeling later! (This attraction is included in the Nature Pass)

A peaceful place to visit. Experience some of the underwater world and you will be amazed by the tranquility of the aquarium on the L'Anse Vata beach. I had a friendly reception and the place is clean. A must see for everyone.

At just A$10 per adult, A$8 for Seniors, this Aquarium is great value and beautifully set out. We enjoyed all the walk-through rooms and then relaxed in front of the large display, seated for ages. This tank was amazing, filled with examples from the area. It certainly encouraged us to go snorkelling in the bays of New Caledonia! Loved it... More

We loved it. 2 Adult and 2 Kids on family pass 2000 francs - we thought it was fantastic value too. Lots to see - freshwater, reef and deep sea. Air conditioned and well presented with interesting information. Small shop at the end .

A very good place, great diversity of sea life. Well set out. Recommend for families.

The aquarium was surprisingly larger than first expected. The array of tropical fish was impressive. As Noumea doesn't have a lot to do in the way of entertainment (especially in crap weather), the aquarium is a cool, relaxing place to bring the family. I don't recall if there was a gift shop or not, but that's probably a good thing.... More
