Tenaru Falls is a great day out but plan to spend the whole day, it is a very long walk in and out. You need to arrange a guide in advance - the Tourism Bureau next to Mendana Hotel is the best place to start. Tenaru is on the eastern side of the airport and from town it is probably...

Tenaru Falls is a spectacular waterfall, falling about 60ft into a clear deep pool. After the 2-2.5hour walk though the jungle to the falls you are more than ready for a swim in the surprisingly cool pool.
