We weren't sure what to make of the tour at first but were so glad we perservered with it as it ended up being the highlight of our Vanuatu holiday. However, people who are not used to, or prepared to try, local food, or accept that village life means no toilets (or clean ones), no electrcity etc need not bother... More

“Don't get duped”

it was really bad, the tour guide is quite slopy, the dance was cancelled, the so called "lunch" was just some fruit and a snack, and there is really NOTHING to see at all. It worths nothing compare to the AU$200 price I paid. Definitely the biggest waste of money & time I spent in Vanuatu.

The full day tour of the Roi Mata site was a great experience - run by the local people, it gives an insight into local culture, with local food and local tour guides. The day tour included 2 boat trips - to an impressive cave site, and to the island where the grave of Roi Mata lies. The Roi Mata... More
