Took two hours bus to go to Kyauktan. Worth it. Very nice scenery.
Foreigner need to pay abt 5000 kyats for the boat to go over. Entrance fee is USD$2.
Very nice and beautiful.
If you hungry, not recommend to eat at the center stall, should be the biggest stall (you may see many bus drivers ate there), very expensive...

The highlight of Kyauktan is supposed to be the river trip to the island pagoda, which is OK, but the pagoda is quite small, and the little island and temple get pretty crowded. There are some nice figures in the pagoda, but there are also what look like two electricity pylons (!) jammed onto the island as well, which detract...
