Instead of merely viewing paintings (as in a typical art gallery) visitors can interact with the paintings, posing themselves just right so that they look as if they are part of the original work. To ensure that even its busiest patrons have time to enjoy the fun, the museum stays open each day until 10PM, making it a popular date and hang-out place.Outside of the main exhibition hall is a main square that is decorated like the Santorini in Greece. In addition to classy fountains and decorations, the main square is also home to the museum café (simply called ‘Santorini) which serves up scrumptious organic coffee and other beverages. « less

I saw this in a drama and decide to visit. The area is smaller than I expected. If there a lots of visitors, you might not truly enjoy as they start blocking you etc. The number of exhibitions is ok - will take you an hour. Make sure you bring and use your camera, even if it's for viewing the... More

This place was so much fun. I don't know if it is a must see if you are coming to Seoul for a visit but if you live here or have some extra time this is a lot of fun. However, do not come here by yourself. The best part of this place is taking pictures of you and your... More

Thanks to all the Tripadvisor reviewers who recommended this museum. It was something my children and I enjoyed visiting. Spent a good 1 to 1.5 hours here. We posed at almost all of the paintings. It was quite hard to see the effect or end result unless you view back your photos on your digital camera on the spot. Some... More

I've read reviews and enticed with the positive responses. We recently visited Trickeye Museum and we were very surprised why it is not promoted as one of the main attraction the city has to offer. Relatively tricky to find, but if you just take the train to Hongyik University, exit 9, straight on until you passed by Citibank and TGI... More

I went here after my visit to Hongik Uni. No worries if you couldn't find the place, there's a tourist information center located at the middle of busy street. They can show you the direction and it's just nearby only. Locker are provided for your bag storage. Lots of artistic and nice pictures for your photo shoot purpose. Can enjoy... More

Trickeye Museum can be a bit hard to find, which is probably why it has received little attention here in Tripadvisor. To reach Trickeye Museum, go to Hongik University station and take Exit 9. Walk straight until you reach a coffee shop. From there, it should be easier to find it. Refer to one of the pictures to see what... More

At first I was a bit worried on how to get to the trickeye museum, however it's fairly easy to find... 1) take the subway - Hongdae station, take exit No. 9. 2) as soon as you climb the stairs of exit No. 9 walk forward and you'll see a citybank. keep walking until you reach TGI Fridays. 3) Turn... We went to Hongdae and walked around, while looking for this place. After a while, we saw an electric post with Trickeye banner on it. We asked a korean man for direction. The man was very helpful, using his tablet, he looked for this area and then directed us to it. In a short while, we are in Trickeye. The... More

The Trick Eye Museum is a gallery of optical illusion artworks where you are encouraged to interact with, and become part of, the artworks. There are many photo opportunities with the potential for memorable photos. Location/Getting there: The Museum is located down a flight of stairs in a basement of a building in Seogyo Plaza. Catch Metro Line 2, the... More
