I really enjoyed the korean Village. I guess it helped that I was with my Korean wife who translated things for me but even without that there is still lots to see and some great performances. We also had her uncle to drive us there so we didn't have to worry about transportation. Make sure to try the Korean Rice... more

This is not the same as Namsangol Traditional Folk Village which is actually located in Seoul! This village is much more extensive and is a 1 hour subway ride to Suwon from Seoul. You can buy tickets for the village by turning left out of the Suwon station main entrance and going to the tourist information. The buses to the... more

First of all, the "proper" Folk Village is not in Seoul but near to Suwon. There is a small folk village on Namsan mountain near Chungmuro station in Seoul, but this is not where you go for a bus trip or by yourself for a day out.
