We went to the Memphis as part of our guided tour with Rasha. The museum has quite a few large statues of Ramses. An alabaster Sphinx (2nd largest in Egypt) of an unknown pharaoh. The highlight being the enormous statue of Ramses the Great. The detail on this masterpiece is amazing. more

On our first day in Cairo, our tour guide took us to see Saqqara, Memphis, Giza (Pyramids and Sphinx). In between, he took us to a papyrus shop and a perfume shop.
