I agree with the rating we went around these tombs which took a good 4 hours but was well worth it.See the Giza Pyramids from the outside, take in the sound and light there too but save time to go into the wonderfully decorated and older tombs in saqqara.The step pyramid was after all the model for all the others.... more

We spent a few hours at Saqqara with our tour guide Rasha. Actual seeing the Step Pyramid is worth the trip alone. Other things to do are the various tombs that are scattered around. I got to know of the place while I was there. This is a must. We got a taxi to take us about for the day. $30 each we spent over 7 hours and included this towards the end. more
