I visited the zoo on the 24/06/08. We had not heard of it but came across it and went in for 10p. As always the harrasment came from the workers. I was appalled with the condition and treatment of the animals here. The gardens are ok, but the animal cages etc are a disgrace. The local children have great fun taunting the animals by rattling the cages or throwing things at them. It's no wonder that the zoo is not advertised to tourists. I would not recommend anyone to visit... more
