This place is very grand and beautiful. The Turkish style was evident from every corner. The inside is a vast carpet space for the people that go there to get down and pray (you must remove your shoes, and cover exposed legs for modesty) The Lamp inside which is a major focal point id amazing.

The turkish architecture prevails,so we will be reminded of the blue mosque with a more duties pidgin infested surrounding which is very Egyptian, but look at the surrounding and witness the interior,as someone has echoed ,"spiritually uplifting" go for it ,don't miss it,spend some time and don't rush it

If you have seen The Blue Mosque in Istanbul Turkey, it's basically similar to that although I think The Blue Mosque is actually better. Amazing decor and the ceilings are amazing to look at - don't look up for too long!! Plenty of history here and a very spiritual place. Try to go in the mornings to avoid the hot... More

Amazing, all white alabaster! Lovely architecture bothinside and out.Be prepared to cover or remove your shoes and ladies cover your knees and shoulders, a scarf or pashmina is ideal. Again a local guide is invaluable.
