The first Islamic house I ever visited in Cairo was that of Zeinab Khatoun.
It is very interesting to see and quite a different experience than visting other Islamic monuments i.e. mosques.
This house was restored in the 1900's and again about 10 years ago, so it is in very good condition and has many interesting features.
