Pictures look different... They are ok but in the middle of a city and there are soooo many egyptians trying to sell you useless things. I was looking forward for the Sphynx. I was disappointed. Nice but ou can see it only from 'bout 100 meters.
And about going inside... $18 for climbing awful stairs bent over into a tiny...

I was in awe of what was built...just the sheer size. But it would have been a truly wonderful experience if you are not being harriaed by the street sellers all the time while you are their. I did not buy anything from them...and you don't either...it only encourages to be agressive in getting your money.
the magnificence of these structures, mind boggling.
It was really great ,, I was dreaming to visit this place in a day

Eight other pyramids are in the complex, together with the Sphinx. Don’t miss mortuary ship fully restored, separately exposed in the complex.
You may want to hire a camel or...

With tourism down 85%, the souvenir hawkers have become very aggressive and their persistence somewhat diminished the excitement. We entered the Pyramid of Menkaure, the smallest of the three pyramids of Giza; the long passage was stiflingly hot and not for those who may...
