I have been to the Giza site many times, and never tire of that first glimpse of the Great Pyramid. My best advice is to try not to lose your temper with the touts and "guides" who will not leave you alone unless you ignore them. Wander around all the pyramids, take in the solar boat, then stroll down to... More

No matter how many pictures you see, nothing prepares you for the real thing. The pyramids are an awesome sight. There are a lot of vendors and touts but the pyramids themselves are worth the trip.

One more item off of my bucket list. Awesome...but would even been better if the street vendors where not harrasing you the hold time to buy something. They need to set up a permentent vendor area and not allow independent street vendors to bother visitors. This way if I want to buy a item I can go over to the... More

It was interesting to reflect on life and feel the It's an easy to walk around site (ignore the hustling locals, use your ear phones). One can see all pyramids and the Sphynx in two hours.. unless you decide to walk all the way around the pyramids to get a different perspective and visit the observation point, then it might... More

If you go to Egypt then seeing the Pyramids are a must. They are the last remaining Wonders of the World and they really are just that. We've travelled alot and have seen Ayres Rock, the Grand Canyon and The Great Wall of China but tthe Pyramids are the best of the bunch in fact Egypt has more to see... More

I was in awe by the thought and the sight of these magnificent structures. I found the vendors to no be very problematic like i have read. I would caution you this is not something that you want to walk, hire a car or better yet a guide.

Our tour stopped at the Pyramids of Giza for about 45 minutes on our run through Egypt. This trip was on my bucket list, so I was very excited to finally see the Sphinx and Pyramids in person. I would have given the exhibit an excellent rating if it were not for the "vendors"... I had heard about the hassles... More

One of the most amazing experiences I've seen and worth a visit. I would strongly advise you to hire a tour guide with good English and knowledge on this occasion - you can arrange this with the hotel travel desk you are staying at (in general) and negotiate a fair price. Practically every tour gude will try and scam you... More
