We ended up visiting Kom Ombo at night, by accident, due to our Nile River cruise boat getting stuck unexpectedly at a lock for 6 hours. It turned out to be the best "mishap" of our trip. I don't know why but I really like this temple and have visited it twice. The Temple is right on the Nile. The first view from the river is alot more spectacular than going by bus.
