Probably the best excursion we did. The journey to the Island in smallish boats in the dark was fascinating and slightly mysterious. The lights highlighted the architecture but the story was powerful and atmospheric voiced by some of the best English character actors we have. IF YOU CAN DO THIS YOU SHOULD

Loved standing out under the stars looking at the silhouettes of the massive pylons. It was almost better when the lights were out, though I loved the corny narrative and the great light show. The boat trip over in the sunset and return in the night was atmospheric too

Overall I enjoyed the sound and light show. The temple looked beautiful at night with the lights and the story being told was entertaining. I did not enjoy haggling for the boat ride over, but that can't be helped since the temple is on an island.

The lights compliment the buildings, and the story was quite fascinating. It is a very beautiful temple, lit up on a small island on the Nile.

We went to the English show, explained well the history and we were very lucky as there were very little tourist so we were able to appreciate the temple complex.
