It was fun to take a boat trip out to this site. The site was interesting to me for a few reasons: 1)The temple has been relocated after the dam construction 2) coptic and other graffiti that holds a story about changing religious views over time.

This is a Nubian temple that like Abu Simbel was relocated to save it. It's a spectacular sight with wonderful layout, showing the influence of classical Greek design on a Ptolemaic era temple. Good carvings as well.
