The KICC is a complex that comprises of various meeting and exhibition facilities. Equipped with modern facilites and good security, this place has various options to choose from and its location at the city centre makes it accessible and close to accommodation facilities, which makes it a perfect choice for international conferences and exhibitions.
Was wandering the city on a quiet weekend.Strolled past the bomb memorial and had a peek at the mausoleum of the first president.Entering the square its quite relaxing. The actual building itself has a cafe which is pricey plus a restaurant supposedly somewhere, couldnt see it anyway. The magical thing about this attraction lies on the top most floors.Pay 300/- and you get...

Poorly maintained and crap security - no wonder AQ has a picture of it on their website
Very poor facilities. Often dirty, door broken, fire escapes locked or blocked, no internet, old dirty carpet, staff never around to help! What's right and I'm in the Exhibition business and have had to use it for 20 years!! Lousy food on site, no car parking - all taken up by surrounding office workers.
Poorly maintained though a lot has been done recently to improve its facilities. However, its size makes it ideal for large events.
This is the only building that says you know Kenya. It is the Iconic symbol of Kenya. No picture says u know Kenya if it does not have KICC in the background. It is the only building within the city with an helipad that is accessible to public. Any visitor to the City of Nairobi should set there bearings from...

Since Nairobi is generally a low-rise city, you'll get a pretty unobstructed view across the different sections of the city. I...

This rather ugly building is, as far as I know, the only of the high-rise buildings in downtown Nairobi that is open to the public. Just go through a couple of security check-points and pay a fee of 500KSH, and you will be allowed to take the elevator to the 27th floor. There you will be met by a guide,...

once the tallest building in Africa, sporting what was then (in the 1970s) appreciated as an African-modern architectural style, it did not age well. Nowadays, it stands out in the skyline of downtown Nairobi, like a wrecked rocket from some B-sci-fi movie of yester-century. Once you walk in it looks creepy and moldy, not even its lighting having been modernized....
