There was no need to go into the reserve. the conservancy has the highest concentration of predators in the smallest area. Well managed and the upside - no white tourist buses allowed in the conservancy cramming up a small are, so the animals get to enjoy their space
Amazing. explorekenya.com promotes 'safari on a budget' and they provide a truly amazing experience worth so much more. Airport pick-up, camp, meals, safari (cheetah's, elephants, giraffes, eagles, hippo's & crocs .. the finale was a pride of lions catching breakfast). The people were super friendly and I felt very safe, i would do this trip by myself if i couldn't...

The Mara is absolutely the best African park ever. We saw the "Big Five". The scenery is beautiful. The guide we had was great. His knowledge of the animals and how to find them was amazing. This is a very good conservancy. Can hear animals like lions, elephants and hippos at night.
So amazing, really beautiful landscape full of different animals, birds and plants and not as busy as the National reserve, far fewer vehicles! Walking safari was well worth it, seeing so much more at grass roots level!!
A brilliant pace to go. The variety of animals was great and so unspoilt.
always book with a reputable tour company that has radio call

This means that, unlike parts of the main Mara, you dont get 10 jeeps crowded around one lion. It is where the Big Cat Diaries were filmed...
