We did not see a show there, but can imagine that it would be fabulous. The building itself has to be seen to be believed. Get a picture with the reflective pool!

We spent all afternoon here, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth the entrance fee. If you are interested in architecture and/or the dramatic arts, there is so much too see here, along with good cafes and bookshops. Just sorry we had no time to attend a performance.
The NCPA is one of the things that keeps me sane in an insane world. I greatly enjoy going here to see concerts and other performances. Tickets are very reasonably priced, and every seat is pretty much decent.

wow, the building was so nice and big....................
I went with some local colleagues for a concert -- the acoustics are very good and the building is interesting
The Performing Arts center is a striking egg shaped building. Most people just view it from the outside, but we went in and had a look around (about £4). Known to the locals as "the Egg" this is a lovely sculptural building which really does seem to float and hover above the water. Easily reached by subway which goes right into the building and a quick walk to Tianenmen Square
The NCPA is amazing. Really, there are not too many other words you could use to describe it without sounding synonimous. It is just amazing.
It is worth spending quite a bit of time trying to work out the architecture and clever engineering that put it together. Any of the several coffee shops provide good perspectives from which to contemplate...

Went to see a drama there on the last day of Feb. The place was at the center of the city, so very convenient. The architecture was beautiful and magnificent. A lot of concerts and dramas or operas are on at the same time. Worth a visit to have a nice evening. If you have no interest in the shows,...

You can spend several hours inside just walking around. There are many small/large stairs – you can get splendid photos from these spiral stairs. Bring your wide-angle lens if you...
