its really the Hong Kong seaport thing..nice to experience riding and taking photo of it
This was an absolute bargain at HK100.I was lucky to have perfect weather and only about ten of us making the trip.Really interesting. I was asked to show my passport (copy ok) when I booked the trip the night before.I don't know if this is a must, but might be a good idea to it with you anyway
This Chinese junk rides are available on Thursdays and Saturdays from Kowloon to HKG and vice versa. We bought the tickets (HKG100/person) at the HKTB Visitor Centre (located at Star Ferry Concourse, Tsim Sha Tsui) a day before we took the ride on Saturday. Turned out there were only about six passengers. But it was a great experience. The ride...

This was a really nice sail through Victoria harbour on this traditional Chinese junk. The tickets are not expensive either. Turned out to be about 12 us dollars. The boat goes One way from either hong kong island or kowloon. A great tip is to get to the tourist area early to get tickets to get the sailings you want....

At $50HK per person, this hour-long harbour cruise on a restored junk is fantastic value.
If it's not a blaringly sunny day, the cushions up on the back deck beside the wheel house are a great spot - they give an uninterrupted view, and you can catch the breeze. (If it is sunny, you're probably better off under the shade...

I think when I went on the Duk Ling a couple of summers ago was the last summer it was provided for free. But I believe the price I see listed on another review is still worth it - it is great entertainment value for the buck. Bring the camera as you will have so many photo-ops - the red...

The Duk Ling is a restored Chinese Junk, that takes tourists on a one hour boat ride in Victoria Harbor. The cost is HK$50 per person, and tickets can be purchased from the Hong Kong Tourism Board offices. There are two levels on the boat, the lower level is covered overhead, and has some cushioned seating. The top deck is...
