This is an amazing garden and nunnery surrounded by concrete roads, overpasses and yet another shopping centre. It is serene, a welcome retreat on a hot steamy day. Makes you want to take 5. Make sure you visit the temple and lotus garden areas, so beautifully peaceful.

This is one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen! Absolutely manicured lawns and plants, elegant crystal clear fish ponds. A gardener's paradise!

We loved Nan Lian Gardens. The area is very peaceful and the buildings are just beautiful. Much nicer than some of the other 'must do' visits, and it has a lovely little vegetarian restaurant - I'd recommend the afternoon tea!

Nan Lian Garden was very lovely, it was a pitty that it was pouring rain when we visited here. That didn't stop me from going in. Im glad i did, this place was so peaceful and pretty. It's nice to have a garden like this in the middle of a big city :)

This was a very peaceful place that stretched on for ages. It is clean, the bonsai are gorgeous and it is hard to believe you are in Hong Kong! A beautiful spot to escape the heat.

So this past Sunday we decided to head over to Nan Lian Garden to have some vegetarian food at the restaurant located inside the garden on the northeastern corner. We booked that morning and were given a waterfall window seat. Just absolute gorgeous view as we sat behind a man-made waterfall. Although we were inside in air con comfort so... More

Yes, It is pretty...but so is other park such as Kowloon park or hong kong park. The only advantage is next to the chi Lin nunnery. The big disadvantage: this is not family friendly park. Do not expect to see playground or fish pond. You are not even allowed to eat or drink inside the park though there are several... More

This is a very beautiful park with a great zen atmosphere. After 3 days of amusement parks and shopping, this was a perfect respite before heading off to the airport.
