If you are looking for local food for dinner, you may want to try going to the temple street after 6pm. Nothing much to shop and buy though.

Always visit the night market at least twice during our stay. Great choices and good fun bartering.

Don’t expect any ground-breaking finds. Most of the markets are filled with Made in China low quality clothing, bags etc. and plastic products. Temple Street Night Market is worth a stroll-though but the ambiance is mostly courtesy of the exotic signage, faces and smells. Towards the bottom of Temple Street you’ll also find jade stalls, fonrtune tells and a sex-toys... More

you will find everything and anything you need in Temple street however, nothing different from what you will find in the Lady's market. The vendors will give you ridiculous prices but will let go of anything for 1/3 or even 1/4 of the first price they gave you so don't be in a hurry and walk away, it always works... More

I am an avid market goer. Have been to markets in cities in Thailand, Malaysia, Bali and by far the best quality and prices are to be found here. The stall holders do not hassle you at all (comparatively) until you show an interest in their products. Their negotiating is very reasonable and quality is very good. It gets really... More

For a Filipino who is used to tiangge, I found the night market a bit lacking in choices. However the trip there was worthwhile and the idea of shopping until midnight is a happy notion for me ^_^

I loved walking thru,' the overcrowded streets from one end to another end At the same time looking for something that may attract my curiosity or grab my attention simply. One may have to bargain hard to get a cheap buy if not you don't get daylight robbery instead nightlife cheatings. During Oct month weather is lovely not so hot... More

Bargain for at least 50% off asking price... walk away and they will follow you. High end knockoffs available in "back room areas" if you search but bargain, bargain, bargain...

With hundreds of stalls, there is a lot to see and buy here. Prepare to haggle as you can often get half off the original asking price
