Aberdeen Harbor is a pleasant one-half day and as a working harbor still retains some aspects of early Hong Kong. The promenade can be walked in ten minutes. Saipan operators are available for a harbor tour. Along the promenade is a park where board games are played by residents. The fish processing building is at one end of the promenade... more

Aberdeen Harbour is on the opposite side of the island from the city, and has a whole different feel. It is a fishing harbour, and is filled with fishing boats. You can take a sampan ride around the harbour for about 60 HKD ($7.50) per person that lasts about 30 minutes. It is interesting to see the people living on... more

A little harder to get to as no MTR but catch a bus or take a taxi, this place has a lovely feel. Watch the fishermen brining home their catch and hustle bustle of boats in and out. Take a sanpan ride around the harbour to get a true feel of the place. I would highly recommend more
