Tsim Sha Tsui has everything a tourist would need. Great shopping, transportation and food choices.

Yes okay, you have to put up with being accosted every second step by someone wanting to sell you something but for sheer interest and cheap fun nothing can beat a wander around TST and its myriad of shops and hotels. Just make sure you leave the credit cards in the hotel safe!

Watch, Missy? Shanghai tailor just for you? Camera? Avoid these at all cost! Do NOT buy electronics here!! Do NOT, Do Not! Buy them in your own country where you know people and can return it if anything happens. There are some great markets on this side though - Jade Market, Ladies Market.

I like the place for the many shops, people and the cafes. My dislikes are that the place is so conjested with just too many people and vehicles. And the pollution from the roads can be very bad at times.

TST is a great place for a wander on a Friday or Saturday night. You can find any type of food here or any consumer item. Check out Chungking Mansions. Take the Star Ferry back to HK Island.

Great place to stay with access to MTR and Star Ferry. We were glad to have stayed at TST rather than in Central. Enjoyed the buzz of the area. Lots to do and see in a short distance. Some of the best things in HK we found at TST.

TST really shows the intermingling of Chinese people and foreigners, with 5-star hotels, African and South Asian traders, fantastic curries in Chungking mansions (my former home), a wonderful harbour view and lots of shopping.

If you go to HK, TST is the place you must go. TST is the shopping center in HK. You can find anything you want to buy and the different kind of food. Most of the HK people will go to TST in holiday.

Over crowded with rude pedestrians, smelly, incredibly polluted. Offers no other particular interest than shopping... again!

Note to TripAdvisor: the photo to the left of this space as I write this review is not of Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon. It is of the Convention Centre in Wanchai on Hong Kong Island. Not so long ago, Tsim Sha Tsui was a nice residential/commercial area, then it turned into a sleazy dump. But during the past few... More
