The ticketing queue was really long but it was worth the wait. Take the right side seat of the tram, you will get to see the view of city on the way up the hill. I went up the Peak at night so the view of HongKong was amazing!

The tram ride was an awesome experience. However, be prepared to fight your way on with the other sightseers ... they really do push :) But the the view from atop the peak is simply incredible and worth the experience.
The Victoria Peak is a MUST SEE for any visitor to HKG. It gives you a panorama view of the Victoria Harbour. The most stunning sight is the skyscrappers posing themselves along both sides of the harbour. The sight is amazing at both day and night.

nice view on a clear day but crowded and very touristy, esp on the weekend. the shops actually get in the way of being able to enjoy the view - get out of the tower and walk around/
Great place to see HK. I recommend to take small bus no 1 rather than big bus no 15 because it is quicker with bus no 1 only 20 min. With no 15 it will take 45 min.
When going up, take a seat on the right hand side for a spectacular view of the city. It's funny being at such an angle while being able to look into people's living rooms! The best way to get up to the peak.
Getting around in Kowloon & Hong Kong Island is so easy, Trains, Bus, Ferries, The buses do not give change so have some small change with you. Trains & buses have ticket machine`s for fares. We went by train to H/K central, Bus to the Peak, Tram back down .Open top Bus around town then Ferry back to Kowloon.
We loved the Peak Tram, its history and its views. However when one arrives at the top of the peak one is deposited into a huge shopping centre tower ~ the peak tower.
We arrived about 8.30 and hardly any of the towers shops were open ~ yet is took us about 15 mins to get out of the place....

Just a high priced low value shopping center on a hill. Busy...not worth the effort. A couple of decent rests.
A must see if you go to Hong Kong. The Peak Tram was actually used for public transport before. This is not just a tourist trap, even though most of what goes on at the Peak is exactly that.
