A group of us witnessed the Symphony of the Lights from the Avenue of the Stars. It started prompty at 8pm and we were able to see fairly clearly because there were not too many people out and about.
What we found thought is that much of the action was equally shared between the buildings behind us as well as...

The symphony of light comes to life at 8pm every night. To catch this show, my friend and I went to the Arena of Stars, Tsim Tsa Shui (TTS) near the harbour located few minutes from TTS MTR. There are some bronze statues on the walkway and the most famous one would be the statue of Bruce Lee. Many people...

We watched from the harbour's edge in Kowloon and the 15 minute show was fun. Lots of lights in all the buildings across the harbour and the reflection in the water is lovely. We went a few nights during our visit because it was different with the changes in the weather plus it's just a fun thing to do before...

As I usually stay at a hotel in TST that has rooms with Harbor View, I frequently get to see this spectacular light and laser show. One of the great things about it, is that it is FREE! You can either go down to the Walk of Stars by the Harbor, or be in one of the hotels and restaurants...

A spectacular multimedia display of colour lights and laser beams happening nightly at 8.00 pm on both sides of Victoria Harbour. The light show of 15 mins is synchronised to music. Enjoyed the show and Hong Kong night skyline strategically from the Avenue of Stars. We were lucky as the narrations were in English during our visit.
I have been to HK for quite a number of times but for some reason I always miss the Symphony of Lights until my last trip.
Apparently there was indeed a reason why I never got to see it. The Symphony of Lights is anti-climactic and just underwhelming. I was expecting nothing short of grandeur but what I saw left...

This is a fun experience to pay attention to during a few nights of your trip to Hong Kong. It can be enjoyed from either side, Kowloon or Hong Kong Island - or from the water via ferry, Aqua Luna, or some other boat ride.
