It was the right place for us to get lost in crowd without any purpose — we were just strolling, looking around and eating some street food. Colorful, wild, noisy — that district is breath and live — we found it extremely charming and we came back there several times just for that atmosphere. — Recap — strongly recommend.

Went there on a weekday afternoon and couldnt wait to get out. The place is completely packed with people on the streets, it was hot & muggy and there were nasty smells from street food and pollution everywhere. There is hardly any space to walk and you will be inundated with people walking in all directions. Didnt find any quality... More

The Mong Kok Computer Centre is a treat if you're looking for electronics of most kinds. We bought iPhone adapters, USB keys and so on at excellent prices. It is crowded and has narrow corridors spanning several floors but worth a visit if you want a choice of electronics

HavIng been to hk many times, but not for four years now, went to Mongol to check prices on some camera gear and electronics. Know your prices before you go, as just about everything was more expensive than Australian prices. For example. I bought an Olympus e-pm1 in February 2012 for aud$395. The local HK price was the equivalent of... More

If you like shopping and like to wander through blocks of merchandise, Mongkok is your place. Always remember, every price is negotiable. If you can't get your price, try walking away and a compromise is sure to follow.

Mongkok is one of the busiest places in Hong Kong. In parallel to the main road, Nathan Road, is the electronics gadget shops where you can find all the latest models, then next also in parallel to the main road is the Ladies Night market. Then there is still another 3rd parallel street to main road, full of shops with... More

I find the Ladies Market as an average only. Why? Because there are more variety of goods that you can buy from temple street night market. What I like here is FOOD, you can find here cheap and affordable restaurants. For a first timer like me, it is a must to try the street foods. But make sure to check... More

Whatever you cannot find in Central or Tsim Sha Tsui's shopping malls, you might just find here in Mongkok. From sports apparel to casual clothing to bags and accessories, Mongkok is a one-stop shop for everyone. I particular like the selection of mountaineering gears available in Mongkok. There is an unbelievably wide range of choice and true enough what I... More
