This was a hidden gem that I discovered while touring Nanjing. I had planned on just walking through on my way to the city walls but was pleasantly surprised and intrigued by the Temple itself. Anything but a tourist attraction, this appeared to me to be a functioning place of worship first and foremost; I believe it is the busiest...

This has been one of my favorite Buddhist Temple's. It stretches up the hill and has a pretty pagoda at the top. It has a good view from the top of the pagoda also.
