Having previously done the sunrise climb of Mt Batur with ease we thought we'd give the big hill a go (at over 3,000 metres). Unknown to my girlfriend at the time, the top of Mount Agung was to be the place for me to ask the big question. The ideal sunny conditions never transpired but this just gave it a unique experience, and the outcome was positive anyway....she said yes! Ps - it is a tough old climb, virtually rock climbing

It takes 2 hours driving to the parking lot from Seminyak. Bring your light, jacket, shoes, and negotiation with local guides. We were 4 persons paid 500,000 for guiding us. Nice Place to see. We have been there early morning. There is a small Restaurant on the cliff from where you can watch all the three Volcano's. Peaceful Place and Nice place to enjoy the surrounding Atmosphere.

The highiest wulcano of Bali with absolutly amazing view on other volcanos - on sunset also you can see mt rihiani on lombock. Starting from tempale level at 2:00 am you are going up.
