I got to experience how real Bali people live everyday. I got to eat what Bali people eat. They have a very comfortable place to sleep in, they have very... More

We stayed at the farm and worked on a service project building a pig shelter. Ketut guided us to amazing local temples. We ate the most wonderful home-cooked Balinese food including fish and prawns that we caught ourselves. We also visited a local elementary school. An unforgettable experience...

We have been to the farm several times, and love it every time!! The food is so fresh it can't get any fresher, perfectly spiced up or down depending on the visitors! Every visit we learn something new, and this is real Bali, away from the busy streets of Kuta or posh hotels in Nusa. Ketut, our guide and Balinese... More

Four families, 16 total, visited Side By Side Organic Farm in Dausa village in East Bali. What a great experience we all had! We enjoyed planting rice, learning about medicinal plants, and being in a quiet natural setting. All of us felt that we became part of the Balinese farm family. The farm taught our children how they can make... More

We visited the farm and fish ponds for the day, and were treated to beautiful hospitality and the freshest food we have tasted in a long time! Healthy organic food, prepared on the spot, all in a lovely landscape of peaceful green and beauty. All around were crops growing and people earning a simple living while feeding their families and... More

We stayed at the farm for one night last time we were in Bali. Great place, great people, great food. Whe we arrived we were given a tour of the place, and we assisted in catching prawns and fish that woul later become part of a delicious meal. We also saw the trees that have been planted by volunteers and... More

Our family of four visited Side By Side Organic Farm, Restaurant, and Homestay in East Bali. It is in a beautiful location, surrounded by rice fields, with Mt. Agung in the distance. Our children had fun feeding the farm livestock, fishing with bamboo poles, and playing games with the local children. The food is beyond delicious! The farmers pick fresh... More
