Yes it's under restoration after earthquake, but you still get the full external experience. Only thing you cannot see is the carving on the interior of the different temples. more

In July 2008 the area was still mostly cordoned off. You could only walk around part of the perimeter. The site is dusty and not picturesque like at Borobudor. The temple was cordoned off except for one of the main temple due to the 2006 earthquake. No restoration work seen going on the damaged temples. If can enter inside the temple it might be onother experience but seeing it from outside it will take only 1/2 hour to tour the whole temple complex. more
