When visiting Philippines, include Chocolate Hills in Carmen, Bohol as one of your travel destination. A must see natural attraction. Probably, stay there for a couple of hours as there no other attractions but a normal 1,268 hills. It is called Chocolate Hills because during summer when grass is brown...it looks like brown chocolate. Just alot few hours travel time... More

They're disappointingly exactly what you'd imagine them to be. There's so much hype about them that they feel like a must-do, even though seeing them in person isn't much better than seeing a photo.

Only in Bohol such wonderful nature. I am a Boholana, I really don't forget to visit the place. When you visit Bohol, always include Chocolate Hills in your itinerary. If you fail, you will miss half of you life.

What can I say, this is just a unique experience. It reminded me of one of those surreal Windows (or Linux ;-) desktop backgrounds. You can't go to Bohol and NOT visit Chocolate Hills --it's like going to Paris and not seeing the Eiffel Tower! One tip: go there in the morning or late afternoon of a sunny day. The... More

The main attraction if one speaks about Bohol Island is the Chocolate Hills. Of course the beaches and the old churches are the big plus too. Indeed this place is wonderful. All the hills are scattered in four towns, one can imagine the number of nice shaped hills spreading vastly. To make the visit and viewing perfect, if possible choose... More

Indeed Bohol's most famous attraction, the Chocolate Hills, is a must see in a "tourist must see list". My friends and I hired a van to take us to the hills which is located in the town of Carmen. Along the way we passed by a man-made mahogany forest. Actually the Chocolate Hills consisting of more than a thousand mounds... More
