I took this trip with my adult family recently. Although we have lived here for many years we still loved this trip. It takes 60 minutes and cost S$22.00 per person and is well worth the money. Go in the evening when it is cooler and you can enjoy the lights along the river (the bridges are beautifully lit up)... More

Great place for a stroll up and down river to see the waterway that gave Singapore a lifeline in history. Recommended for a sunset visit as the temperatures cool and the pulse of the CBD starts to ease, nice place to chill out by the river and watch the setting sun colour the skies.

Given its place in the history of Singapore, a tour of the river is one of the things you want to do. While modern buildings overwhelm the banks of the river, you still can get some sense of the history. This is where Sir Stamford Raffles established the original British trading post in Singapore - you'll pass Raffles statue on... More

We took a group tour on the river while visiting Singapore in March. There us so much to see along the river from unique walking bridges to different buildings ans thriving cultural areas of the city.

Singapore's Quays and opportunities to sightseeing, eat, drink and be happy are plenty. From Clarke's Quay step off and walk past the many pleasures and tastes the vibrant part of the city can offer. Riverside bars and restaurants are a plenty with budget and taste suitable for most visitors.

Grab a 'bumboat' and go up the river for 30 mins, its a nice way to see the city and realise how small Singapore really is.

Bumboat Tour We made pleasant walk in the Marina area past several large building and across the front of some waterfront dinning and cocktailing to find the boat launch next to the Merlion. The Marina area during the evening, with all of the large structures, provides some form of light entertainment and with the Marina Bay Sands complex entertaining the... More

We took the trip on the Singapore river. We chose the 60 minute trip which visited the 3 quays and cost $22. They kindly let us leave the wheelchair at the book in desk. There are about 7 steep steps down to the boat, but there is a handrail and they help you on nicely. We enjoyed this immensely -... More

River is muddy and needs cleaning up. The view is rather good especially at night. If taking river taxis, make sure to stop in front of the merlion and take pictures.
