The set-up the staff, the facts, the layout , the coverage of butterflys, birds and insects from Asia, South America and Guinea was incredible. One of the best animal parks I have ever been to and I have been to many!

If you like a little flutter or even a big one Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom will not disappoint. A tranquil net covered space, well planted with flora and fauna provides lush surroundings and plenty of shade and landing areas for a myriad of butterflies. They waft and flutter around their garden and will sit still for you to photograph....

If you have kids from age 2 to maybe 12 or so, this a great placebo take them. Very informative, and easy to get around. Make sure you wear something light, it's hot and humid.
Liked the butterflies but thought the whole kingdom could do with a makeover looked a bit sad. Also thought too expensive for what you got.
We had the Sentosa Play Pass and that is why we visited the Butterfly park. There were a lot of butterflies and it was fun seeing them in different stages (watch out for the turtles walking around as well). The place is quite small so it didn't take us long to see it and after the main room, there really...

you have to be patient to see the unique insects, with a prepared water bottle, flannel, and sturdy rubber shoes to enjoy the stroll to the insect kingdom..
The butterfly area was quite small although well populated. The insect area was very 1970's-esque with lots of dead bugs but not much that looks like museum design of the last 20 years. The whole thing took less than half an hour and didn't seem worth the time, effort or cost.
The vast variety of species provided for some outstanding photos. Also, there was a wealth of information provided on the insects to learn a bit during the visit.
We loved seeing and being immersed in multitudes of butterflies! Who'd have thought that we had such a variety of butterflies. Some of them were huge. Getting a photo with the Macaws was also pretty special. My gosh they are heavy. The insects were pretty cool too, although some of the tanks were a bit small to see what was...

There are a few interesting creepie-crawlies in the museum (like the stick insects and the leaf insects) but overall it's rather disappointing - you'd see a much greater range of flying things at the Jurong Bird Park. I wouldn't...
