This was mildly spoken a surprise..did not know what to expect and came with open eyes. Way "out" in terms of location, but it was well worth it. Kids loved it; seeing the crabs, birds, mudskippers...above average and time well spent! more

Having visited Singapore a number of times, I was looking for something new to do. What a great escape we had at the wetlands reserve! We spent about 3 hours walking the trails and looking for wildlife. Imagine our excitement when we came across a 6 foot water monitor lizard! We also encountered other reptiles, squirrels, birdlife and tree climbing... more

This large bird sanctuary on the island's northwest side is a series of canals, ponds, and shallow lakes bordering on the Johor Strait. A web of pathways wind along the embankments -- a keen walker could go for an hour or two. There are several large blinds and one immense viewing tower (the "Aerie"). This tower was a highlight.
