If you are in the area, this is a must do! Head north from Puerto Montt to Lake Llanquihue (Puerto Varas is a good base). Take the 190 km drive around the lake visiting in particular Fruitillar and Puerto Octay. When near Ensenada, head up a clearly marked drive to Volcan Osorno.
