The wine estate bicycle tour can be marred by rainy weather. That does not happen often but as you are taken out of Santiago by car these are available. The bicycle route takes you down rural roads, along some wine estates and even through some of the vineyards. Lunch is served in a small but traditional restaurant in a village.... more

Four of us set out on a cool Autumn Sunday morning. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it soon became apparent that this wasn't your typical tourist activity. While we made a mandatory stop at Pablo Neruda's house (and got an excellent summary of his life) we soon headed to parts of Santiago where we didn't see any other... more

From the city bike tour through the fresh markets to the winery bike tour through the vineyards- these tours are a must do for all ages! The guides are knowledgeable and friendly and the scenery is perfect- a great way to take in Chile if you are short on time- plus the added benefit of exercise! Don't miss this! more

I took the afternoon park and politics tour as well as the night tour and I highly recommend both. The bikes were in good condition, the tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable and the tour was well thought out. I will be back in Santiago in the next few months and I plan on doing more tours! more

I took the Human Rights 1/2 day walking tour. On this tour you visit sites associated with the dreadful events of the Pinochet regime and learn about that period. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and spoke excellent English. She spoke from personal experience as well, as her father had been an exile from the regime, and also was keen... more

I took the guide in end 2008 and loved it. We had a mixed group and the guide was speaking english. i would have preferred spanish, as he was obviously more comfortable to speak in Spanish, but it was great nevertheless. I highly recomment it. (I'll probably do it again next time!) more

A wonderful orientation to a new city. My husband and I enjoyed two tours with La Bicicleta Verde during a recent first visit to Santiago. We completely enjoyed both. It was a great introduction to different neighborhoods, historical sites and markets. After the tours we were able to navigate the city comfortably and with confidence (and even knew of places... more

As a former attorney for political refugees and the author of a novel concerning human rights, I was at first intrigued by the prospect of having a Chilean human rights specialist explain to my wife and me the history of those horrific years when Chile had the worst human rights record in the civilized world. But I never expected to... more

My wife found this through Trip Advisor. It was one of the highlights of our South American tour (which included Buenos Aires and Rio). The trip was 3 hours and $33, and worth every cent. Our guide, Mac, was great, and he took us to Centro, the bohemian neighborhoods, and the fruit and fish markets. We learned quite a bit... more

My husband and I only had one day in Santiago. We did the bike tour in the morning and walking tour in the afternoon. We had so much fun and learned a lot! I highly suggest La Bicicleta Verde! more
