This neighborhood offers good views of portions of the city, but definitely not the best. The ascensor is one of the smaller, darker ones, although it's housed in an interesting building. The top of the hill hosts several hostels, but not as many shops as the guidebooks suggested. If you have time to go up only one ascensor, definitely head... more
