to visit the mountain on your own you only have to take the bus going to Guaranda and pay $1 this will drop you off in the main entrance of the park where you´ll have to pay $2 for the entrance, you just have to follow up the car road leading to the refuges alot easier thatn visiting Cotopaxi, you...

Drive to first refuge then hike up. Made it to 17,350' Awesome views until the clouds, snow, fog moved in.

This is the highest volcano in Ecuador with 6310 mts altitude. This place offers breathtaking views. Words and pictures can't describe or reflect all the majesty and beauty of this place.
