My boyfriend and I arrived in February to Quito and our Hotel recommended us Gulliver Expeditions to make some tours. We went to the office and a girl offered us some trips. She was nice. A little shy but she was ok. We wanted to book several tours with them, as we had a limited budget and we had heard... More

I used Gulliver for a climb of Cotopaxi in 2011. The staff member at their office in the mariscal area was generally nice. I also have to admit that he organized my climb on a very short notice and found me an adequate climbing partner (saved me about half the cost!). The gulliver agent also warned us about the risks;... Last year in October I toured South America for more than a month! As I'm from India I had a tough time in arranging everything from there! I suddenly stumbled upon Gulliver in the net! Initially I was extremely nervy in wire transfer of such a good amount of dollars to Ecuador. I did pay in full before landing in... More

My boyfriend and I wanted to visit Quilotoa and where recommended to Gulliver Expedition by a friend that had done this tour a couple of months before. We ended up buying a program of 2 days that besides Quilotoa included a trip to Cotopaxi (the volcano) and downhill biking, as well as one night in the hosteria PapaGayo. The price... More

I booked a week of tours with Gulliver Expeditions - Quilotoa, Cotobikes, horseriding, Otavalo and Amason basin. I had a fabulous time and all their guides were professional and friendly. Gulliver staff were in touch regularly to check all was well too. I stayed at their Papagayo lodge which was homely and relaxing...a welcome break after the city. Gulliver made... More

My cousin and I (ages 34 and 24), booked several tours with Gulliver. They have an inviting office in Quito's La Mariscal district where you can meet with Gulliver agents and view trip photos and itineraries. We booked a 3 day tour with 2 nights stay at Gulliver's Hosteria Papagayo just south of Quito. Each day was a separate tour... More

Me and my boyfriend ordered a 1 month trip to Ecuador through Gulliver Travel. It included 1 day trips to Cotopaxi, Quilotoa and Otavalo market, a week in the Galapagos and rides and hotels in Quito, Banos, Mindo and Papallacta. It was definitely a VIP trip and everything went so smooth thanks to the great caring owners of Gulliver. I... More

A late review...but I hope this saves many travelers from wasting their precious travel time with Gulliver Expeditions. I signed up for their bike trip to Cotopaxti in July 2010...too bad I never even got to ride the bike down the mountain! First, let me say that our guide was wonderful, knowledgeable and professional. I don't think he was at... More
