I speak spanish so getting to Guapulo wasn't too much of a problem; however, recently the bridge connecting Guapulo to Cumbaya was condemned which makes Guapulo more of a pain to get to and it isn't exactly the nicest neighborhood...

Great place to go at day or night; specially at night you can find little hidding places to eat, listen underground concerts, etc, etc.

Guapulo is a wealthy neighborhood with a great gazebo facing the Guapulo´s sanctuary and GREAT green hills. The area is very nice to walk, nothing historical but fancy and nice buildings. Cafe STubel might be a great place to eat due to the city view, it is just next to the gazebo. There is a bust of Orellana (hero).
