Our family spent the day here and did the whole spa circuit: Turkish steam room, red mud bath, blue mud bath, underground termales by candlelight, steam boxes, pool... We had our own attendant walk us through each of the steps. I also had a massage in the cave and lunched there with my mom. We went on a weekday and... More

A $30 charge includes a steam bath, red clay mud bath, blue mud bath, underground hot and cold pools, box steam bath and three pools with different temperatures. The staff is very attentive and walks you through the spa processes. Skip the food, the sandwiches are all bread and very little filling. You can leave the spa and return so... More

My husband and I went to this spa and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the mud baths and the thermal pools. The dinner there was the best we experienced while we were in Cuenca. The grounds were very attractive and well-kept. We even met the owner and his son who were very gracious. We would gladly return to this spa in... More

OK, this place is overpriced, but it felt so great after hiking and being chilled to just sit in the thermal pool and hang out. The setting is lovely, the food is really quite good and not outrageously priced, we enjoyed it so much we even went back a few days later. Bring your sunscreen!

Arizona motif. $10 will get you a hot, large pool, a small, medium pool, and a very small cold pool. Lunch was reasonable but drinks were somewhat expensive. Try the fruit drinks.

Not bad for a day in the Thermal Pools . We went on good Friday at noon thinking the place would be empty. There were way to many kids, and no private showers, you had to stand in line with the families. The steam room, was nice, but the kids kept running in and out and making too much noise.... More

Dear John H Thank you so much for your great comments, we try to give every guest the best experience, of course the spa area cost more than the pools area, but we are sure that people who choose the spa area get the most of their money, since we have unique places like steam box baths directly connected to... I liked the over all place, but I do no think I would enjoy getting a massage there. When we were their they were still doing some construction and it had rained.

Get the spa package and take your time. Also keep your camera with you as the attendants will take great pictures of you covered with the red and blue volcanic mud.

We've been 3 times. Grounds and aesthetics are beautiful, staff is attentive and the program seems unique. The only spa we've attended in Cuenca, it's different in that they run you through a number of treatments on a schedule. They have Turkish baths, mud hot tubs, steam boxes and hot and cold contrast baths. The mud baths are fun as... More
