My review is similiar to the others. This was a memorable experience. The family that we stayed with were very welcoming. We visited as part of a GAP tour of Peru but we were told that they were paid 25 soles, which is apparently good money to them. We also brought them a gift comprising about $8US worth of groceries.... more

I ditto everything on the last review by aj_hamilton16. On my trip to island , I took bag of sugar / matches / candles and toilet roll which my guest mother was very happy with. I would have bought more but i was staying with my tour leader ( same host mother) and she did not want me to spoil... more

A review of our we booked our overnight trip in Lake Titicaca. We booked our trip through Edgar Adventures, they are based out of Puno and have good reviews. We originally paid $10 extra to have a "small group" ... one word of advice, don't ever pay extra for any small groups ... on any hand, they refunded the $10... more
