Uncomfortable seats. First class is not worth the money. Book it in Cusco, it will be cheaper.

Took both trains - this and Peru Rail. We were not subjected to ridiculous fashion shows meant to sell logo-heavy travelwear on our tri with IncaRail. A much more enjoyable trip.

I traveled for weeks in Peru, my last visit was Machu Picchu citadel, I got tickets for $ 80 dlls round trip. What I like the most was the friendliness of the staff, also the delicious snacks and drinks (included in the price) and finally the cleanliness of the bathroom. I do recommend to travel with Inca Rail!
