After reviewing and searching through many operators offering the 5 day day Salkantay trek we settled through the advise of friends on Quechuas Expeditions. They wernt wrong, the trip was expertly and very proffessionaly handled from the moment we met them until the very end when the management actually took us out of town for a very special lunch with... When we planned the Machu Picchu trip all we knew that this would be one of the trips of a lifetime. Quechuas Expeditions made it happen. They are a local Peruvian group thus making it more special as we were dealing with them directly and they were enriching the local community. Due to lack of time we had to do... More

For our Inka Trail Experience we chose Quechuas Expeditions and we could not have asked for a better operator, guide, or porters. Our search was specifically for a 3-day/2-night Classic Inka Trail tour operator (we were short of time) and that is how we found Quechuas. There were other operators who are offering the same tour but none of them... More

The Salkantay trek was to be the highlight of our time in Peru so we took some time to investigate a lot of the companies. We stumbled upon Quequas and what a find it was! We got very personal service from the beginning where we were told everything we should expect on the trip (we also received a great discount... More

Our experience with Quechuas Expeditions, a local & professional family operator in Cusco, was from start to finish beyond our expectations. Our many questions were promply answered by email or phone. The tours at Lake Titicaca, Sacred Valley and 4-day Classic Inca Trail were educational, filled with cultural information and good humour. On the Inca Trail our guide Percy, a... More

We did the Larres Trek (4d/3n) and highly recommend it for those seeking a glimpse into the lives of the Quechuans and spectacular scenery. You will be able to go into the huts of the locals and see them cook over fires, raise guinea pigs, llamas/alpacas, farm potatoes, and spin wool. A genuine glimpse at a traditional way of life... My girlfriend and I did the 5 days / 4 nighst Salkantay trail with Quechuas Expedition and we had an amazing experience. First, the agency and its owner, Wayra, are very organized and delivered everything they promised (guide, staff, cook, loodging, food, equipment, train tickets, Machu Pichu entrance and so on). Ruben, our guide during that 5 day trip is... More
