Going on the one single review on TripAdvisor, I decided to head over to the zoo. I am not sure about your experience, but I could characterize this as a non-touristy spot! My wife and I spent a week in Lima and thought going to the zoo might be fun. The grounds were very attractive with an entire section designed to look like you were in the middle of the amazon jungle.
