Night life is very interesting for those who love bar hopping as many places are at walking distance. For those who like nice quiet walks during the day and enjoy the view if the... More

Area seemed rather seedy, without a whole lot of interest going on.

Very lively specially weekends. Great view. Difficult to get a taxi that wants to drive you back to Miraflores but be patient and one will!

Visit Javier restaurant in Barranco and sit outside on the terrace overlooking a view of the Pacific ocean between two cliffs. Incredible!

I like to visit Barranco during the day. The atmosphere is beautiful and there are lots of places to take lovely pictures. At night it gets too wild for me, but I've been told its a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music.

It is nice to spend the evening there. There are many small restaurants and the prices are really good

Chinatown, money changers, warehouses stocked with colorful daily items, this area feels more like a large flea market. Teeming with reality and interesting experiences.

My husband and I both budget travellers over 55, stayed in Barranco Lima for 8 days and toured the sites of Lima using the A Line and street buses. We liked the small quiet neighborhood, Tostaduria Bisetti coffee shop (Castilla and Pedro de Osma streets) Pedro de Osma Museum Tour, El Roble/Javier/Istanbul Kabob House/Dedalo cafe restaurants.

This is a great, hipstery part of town with lots of outdoor bars and restaurants. The scene is great and the scenery is fantastic, as many of the bars and restaurants have amazing views of the cliffs and the sea beyond. Lots of fun!
