Mostly locals hang out here in Summer, but a very interesting place to take a dip if you are genetically related to the polar bear. Very Rocky beach (fist sized) but La Punts is genuine, and offers a real taste of Lima.

La Punta is great not only for turist but for locals. Decades ago was the chic place to live, great houses and architecture of the Belle Epoque can be seen from the boulevard that surround the sea.
Normally when in winter Lima is bloqued with clouds, there is a micro climate in la Punta, with great sun specially during weekends......
